Production quality video is the product of high quality rendering and video presentation. Expect to see this quality in television and high profile trial exhibits.
FEES
Production quality is the highest level and most costly. Videos are created with first creating a story board and then our team will review the story board to determine the final video duration. This will determine the cost and a customized proposal will be provided. This fee is based on ordinary scene changes. Additional charges may apply upon extensive scene changes that deviate from the agreed initial plan. Also complexity can alter the final production cost.
STAGE 1: EVENT DEVELOPMENT
In this stage, the MC animator meets with the client and/or the consultants involved to review the file/case and begin creating a storyboard of events that transpired. The MC animator will begin creating 2D visualization to show the progression of events as they occurred.
Bullet points that will be determined in this stage:
- Storyboard
- Background & Setting Expectations
- Ideal Video Resolution Requirements
- Rough Idea of Video Duration Expectations
- Necessity for Audio – Such as Voice-Over Commentary, Sound Effects & Music…
- Animation Rendering Quality Expectations
In this stage, it may be necessary for the MC Consultants team to collect any pertinent documents to properly scale the modeled components/structures involved. MC Consultants may be required to visit the site based on the client’s needs and discretion. If an involved consultant can provide the information needed or has been gathered through other means, this will be the most cost effective solution to the client as site visits will be billed as necessary.
STAGE 2: PRE-PRODUCTION
MC Consultants will develop a final storyboard of events. This will be reviewed once more by the client, and then a 2D animatic will be produced to provide a fluid video visualization of the events as they transpired. This is the crucial stage where any changes to the outline of events should be made to prevent time consuming & costly changes in the later stage of 3D animated production. MC Consultants wants to assure that in this stage, the entire team is in agreement of the outline of events.
MC Consultants will ask that the client signs-off on the storyboard and animatic at this stage, at which time 3D production can begin. It is understood by the client that after 3D modelling and production begins, any changes may require additional costs.
Bullet points that will be determined in this stage:
- Shot List Finalization
- Rough Camera Angle Positions
- Rough Duration Based on Animatic
- Final Storyboard Sign-Off by Client
- Animation Quality Determination
STAGE 3: 3D ANIMATION
Upon completion of the stages listed above. MC Consultants will begin to model the components, such as necessary background, structures, people and other objects based on the information provided in the storyboard and animatic. The animation stage has many steps within, to provide the pre-determined movement and quality expected by the client. This is the stage where the events come to life.
STAGE 4: FINAL COMPOSITION
Once the model building and animation steps have been completed. Final composition of the rendered scenes will take place to produce the final video as expected by the client. This stage includes adding in voice over and other audio material, such as sound effects. Visual effect material such as, title blocks, pointers, flash indicators, scene transitions and text descriptions will be added at this stage. A list of these effects will be provided to the client, and changes to these effects can be made if necessary as making revisions to these components will not change the animated video production.
